Bradley Scanes is leaving Formula 1. The trainer and physio of Max Verstappen said goodbye to his friend on Instagram and did so with a particularly emotional message.
Bradley Scanes has worked closely with Verstappen for the past four years. The Dutchman found in Scanes the replacement for Jake Aliker. With Scanes, Verstappen experienced special highlights, which Scanes also briefly lists in his Instagram post: 4 years, 368 flights. 3 world championships and 1 great friend.

New trainer for Verstappen

"I’m going to miss you mate. We pushed. We had fun. We won. We accepted nothing less. Maybe I added a few percent here and there but you keep doing you my friend, this is just part of your magical story. Thank you for being part of mine."
Scanes is leaving Verstappen for an adventure outside Formula 1. The Dutchman has already found a new trainer, though. Carlos Sainz's trainer, Rupert Manwaring will start working with the Dutchman in 2024.
