Due to the crash between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton, Valtteri Bottas managed to finish on the podium after starting from last place. The Finn can be satisfied with his performance.
Bottas had to start the race from the back of the grid due to a penalty for replacing his engine. "Starting from the back is never easy. I told the team I will be on the podium. I am happy to get more points than Red Bull. It's a shame with the crash from Lewis and Max but good points today," he told the camera after the race.
