During the popular grid walk on Sky F1, legendary presenter Martin Brundle had a hysterical moment with singing star Lewis Capaldi that left viewers in stitches.
Had no idea you were trying to shake my hand. A cardinal sin on my part 🥲
- Martin Brundle
As Brundle made his way down the grid, he encountered a man he believed to be singer Lewis Capaldi. "Lewis, wonderful to see you," the former F1 driver said.
However, the person in question was not the multi-album selling start but his brother, Adrian. "Martin, I'm his brother," said Adrian Capaldi.
The awkward moment took.a twist when Capaldi came into the picture where a lighthearted moment took place between the three.
Brundle's comedy of errors, though, was not yet over, as Capaldi would soon find out.
As the trio said their farewell's, Capaldi offered Brundle a handshake only he missed the gesture and dashed off. Instead, Capaldi shook his own hand, and laughed wholeheartedly into the camera.
Moments later the singer took to social media to share the hilarious scene with the caption "bitched by Brundle."

“Had no idea you were trying to shake my hand. A cardinal sin on my part 🥲 which I hope to put right one day. Hope you enjoyed F1.”
