Fans of the pinnacle of motorsport will experience a major change, as Formula 1 has shaken up its mobile app and online website. The relaunch of its mobile app and website will make both easier to navigate for its users, while also allowing fans to personalise their experience of how the app and website feel.
That can be done by selecting multiple drivers and teams for detailed tracking during the many sessions throughout the 2025 season, while also being able to track their performances across the campaign.
The McLaren pair of Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris lead the way in the drivers' standings, while the British team has a huge lead over Mercedes in the constructors' championship
Fan development helps app and website creation
A redesigned homepage has also been created by
F1 for their new app and website, promoting video content in all forms, along with mobile-first stories that are at the user's disposal.
The redesigned platform will also showcase content from F1TV for its fans, along with its key telemetry and data points, which are also available. These will be embedded in the Live Timing subscription service once again.
The app and website redesigns were tested by the fans themselves, with future phases of development also planned to bring a wider range of content to the app and its website.
"The app and website changes initially focus on improved content discovery across breaking news, race and technical analysis, location guides, along with the much-loved Fantasy and Predict games, where fans can test their knowledge against each other," reads the press release.
