Bernie Ecclestone: "Ferrari have the strongest driver duo for 2020"

Bernie Ecclestone believes that Ferrari are in a really strong position for next season and that they have the best driver line up for 2020. Ferrari have improved throughout the season and will hope to be fast from the first weekend in 2020.

Ecclestone believes that Charles Leclerc is a real talent but that he still needs a bit of time to develop and iron out his faults.

"The boy is good, but he still makes too many mistakes in the Ferrari. Just like Max Verstappen did at the beginning of his career," Ecclestone said to Speedweek.com.

However, for much of this season Ferrari have had the fastest car but they haven't been able to convert that into race points.

Ferrari will hope that they have developed a strong team this year and that they can build on those foundations next season.
