There was a lovely moment in the media pen after the Mexico City Grand Prix, with Oliver Bearman stopping mid-interview after seeing his girlfriend and father overcome with emotion.
It came after the Brit took a stunning P4 around the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, resulting in Haas' joint-highest Grand Prix results, as well as the best results in Formula 1 for the 20-year-old in his debut season.
A stunning result was highlighted by an impressive battle with Max Verstappen, with Bearman and the four-time world champion racing side-by-side, resulting in the Brit coming out on top with a nice move down the inside.

After the Grand Prix, Bearman conducted interviews in the media pen, and during an interview with Viaplay, while speaking about his battle with Verstappen, his girlfriend and father caught his eye.
The camera panned around as Bearman stopped and waved at them, with of them overcome with emotion as a result of the 20-year-old's sublime performance.
Bearman then became overwhelmed with emotion too after seeing them both: "It's very special. You didn't need to show me that, now I'm emotional!"

British media hugely impressed by Bearman

Bearman's fourth-place finish in Mexico saw him score 12 vital points, shooting his way up to P13 in the drivers' standings, while also being rewarded with the 'Driver of the Day' accolade thanks to his fine performance.
"Bearman didn’t just race with Verstappen, he produced some bold and impressive driving that even the four-time world champion would have been proud of," stated the BBC as they dissected the Haas drivers' battle with Verstappen.
