Aston Martin team boss Mike Krack is happy about a new trend in Formula One. Formula One management has recently struck several deals with circuits, but not for a few years, but with an end date well into the future.
Thus, the F1 caravan will travel to the Hungaroring until at least 2032, Grands Prix will be held at Austria's Red Bull Ring until 2030, Formula 1 will travel to Bahrain until 2036 and Australia's Melbourne will also remain on the calendar until at least 2035.

'Better for the teams'

According to Krack, longer contracts are a good thing, he told GPblog and others. "Yeah, I think it's good if you can plan for the future," says the Luxembourger. It also has its advantages for the teams:"it's difficult if you have to change venues all the time," says Krack.
For instance, teams have no data on the new tracks and operational costs are more difficult to map when a team has not travelled there before. "There are some very traditional venues also that have always been with F1. And I think it's good that F1 is capable to do this long-term deal."
