AlphaTauri announces AT03 unveiling date

The Formula 1 teams are due to start the first Grand Prix in just under two months, so the presentations of the new cars will not be long in coming. AlphaTauri will publicly announce what the car will look like in 2022 on February 14.

The rule changes have given all teams the opportunity to catch up with the competition. This also applies to AlphaTauri, which had a very strong year last season. With 142 points it fell just short of overtaking Alpine, but its performance gives hope for 2022.

The Italian racing team hopes that the AT03 will be strong and can compete with the sub-top teams next season. Next month will show how AlphaTauri has shaped the car and in what way the team will try to make steps forward, but the first signs are hopeful for the Italians.

Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda will be back on the grid in 2022. Whereas Gasly impressed last year with an excellent season, the Japanese driver had a much harder time. Tsunoda was unable to achieve comparable performances to his teammate for much of the season, but AlphaTauri is giving him another chance in Formula 1 this year.
