Fernando Alonso explained that China will be another tough weekend for Aston Martin. "But we cannot give up. We need to keep on trying different solutions."
- Fernando AlonsoThe Silverstone-based team had a difficult first race in Melbourne, largely due to the
issues with the Honda power unit.
This weekend, the
F1 grid will contest the
Chinese Grand Prix. Alonso said he does not expect changes to be introduced for the next race.
Speaking to GPblog, among others, the two-time world champion explained: "Not different, not different for sure.
"We have the same car, the same power unit next weekend, so yes, I expect another tough weekend."
He continued: "But we cannot give up. We need to keep on trying different solutions, especially on the chassis, and try to understand and get better in terms of the package in general.
"I think we have not optimised in anything yet because of the lack of mileage, so China will be another good opportunity."
