The factory will consist of three buildings, including a building for the new Aston Martin wind tunnel. The construction was ceremoniously opened on Monday.

Stroll said of the news: "Our new buildings reflect not only the scope of our determination to become a World Championship-winning force but also the scale of our growth and development as an organisation."

Growing Aston Martin

Team owner Stroll takes the opportunity to thank all partners and mentions, "It's exciting to think that by the end of 2022 or early 2023 we will already be in the new home."

Team boss Otmar Szafnauer will look back at the old factory with slight sentiment, but added: "It's the right sizing for a world championship"
