Red Bull's dream weekend not only paid off with a magnificent weekend in front of a crowd of Dutch fans, a pole position and an uncontested win for Max Verstappen, but the team also took the prize for the fastest pit stop again at this circuit.

With a pit stop of 2.15 seconds, Verstappen's engineers were again the fastest on the grid. They managed to keep Bottas' mechanics behind, who also did a good job, clocking a 2.18 second stop.

Lewis Hamilton's second pit stop was stuck in eighth place. Not only did the two attempted undercuts fail to pay off today for the Briton, but his mechanics also failed on the circuit in the dunes. The defending champion's first pit stop lasted more than three seconds.

Rules or no rules

Verstappen's pitstop is all the more impressive given the recent updates to the pitstop regulations. Stops should last no less than two seconds, alongside the introduction of a minimum response time of 0.6 seconds. However, this hasn't hurt Red Bull's lightning-fast mechanics as much as the competition might have hoped, it now appears.
