Helmut Marko saw Max Verstappen win again after two disappointing weekends in Great Britain and Hungary. The victory doesn't have much merit though, because the 23-year old Dutchman didn't really have to race for it. Marko explains how he experienced Sunday afternoon.
"We are not proud of this victory. I think the organiser and the people in charge tried everything to get everyone out on the track for a while so with this compromise solution the obligations were met," Marko told Sky's German branch.

F1 fans long in suspense

However, the advisor to the Austrian racing team does believe that some things went less well. For example, fans had to wait for four hours each time for updates. "There was a lot of uncertainty, is it going to start, is it not going to start. It was not a pleasant racing day and they need to come up with something better for the future there," he explained.
So does Marko have any tips for the people at the FIA? What if the same situation occurs again? "If the conditions are so bad, then you could have postponed it by three or four right at the start. Or you could postpone the race until tomorrow. That would have been a possibility as well."
