With the maximum 26 points, Max Verstappen heads to the British Grand Prix at Silverstone with a 32 point lead over Lewis Hamilton. After three wins in a row, in three weeks, Verstappen has plenty to look forward to for the season ahead. He looked back on his race for Sky Sports.

"Today was really enjoyable. It's not about it being easy or difficult it's just super nice to drive and super happy. There was incredible pace on both tyres and I looked after the tyres. I was enjoying myself out there trying different things. Incredible weekend again," said Verstappen.

Looking ahead to Silverstone

Verstappen is also looking forward to Silverstone, where we will see the introduction of sprint racing. "These sprint races can mix things up a little bit but its still also a very long season and a lot of things can happen. We had two amazing weekends and Silverstone is a different track again. I have always said it's about finding a good set up and not about having the best car. We need to get the potential out of it and we need to make sure we do in Silverstone

"I had it all under control and that was really nice. It's not often you have a race like that," Verstappen concluded
