Lewis Hamilton has achieved almost everything in his career. Yet there is one thing missing. He is not yet the most successful driver of all time considering his seven world titles. For Hamilton the challenge is to change that.

But that doesn't happen without a struggle. The 36-year-old driver says at Motorsport-Total.com that winning doesn't get any easier. "Keeping coming back every year is one of the biggest challenges for a sportsman."

Finding balance

Wanting to constantly improve is an important goal according to Hamilton. "The goal is always to try to improve and not throw the ball into areas you are already good at. Focusing on the weak areas and staying strong in the others, that's no easy task."

In 2008, the Briton became world champion for the first time. After that, he failed for several seasons before becoming the unbroken strength from 2017 onwards. Meanwhile, Hamilton is on par with Michael Schumacher. The German won a total of seven world titles. One more would mean that Hamilton can call himself the all time champion.
