The international press has seen Max Verstappen dominate 'Mercedes-land' for a whole weekend. The media saw a faultless Red Bull Racing driver despite not getting top scores from all outlets. 

L'Equipe

The French newspaper L'Equipe assesses Verstappen's performance and gives him a 9/10. "As he said himself at the finish, Max and Red Bull had everything they needed to win on Sunday. A successful start, a controlled strategy, good tyre management and enough pace not to have to worry about the Mercedes. After being 25 thousandths faster than Bottas on Saturday, the Dutchman had more margin in the race and was able to build up a sufficient lead at the start and restart. His second victory this season promises something for 2021."

Marca

The Spanish medium Marca also gives the 23-year-old Dutchman a 9. "Verstappen won his tenth race in Formula 1 and grabbed the chance with both hands on Sunday. He had to fight less for it than some of his podium finishes, but what he showed was excellent."

Italy's newspaper praises the performance of Verstappen. "Max is pure talent and has undeniable determination.
