But which ones really stand out? Read below to see which three races according to GPblog were the best in 17 years Bahrain.

2006 Bahrain GP

The season opened with an exciting race in Bahrain that many fans will remember. During the race, Fernando Alonso (Renault) and Michael Schumacher (Ferrari) fought for victory up to the finish line. After just avoiding a spin with Felipe Massa, the Spaniard took P1 after the second pit stops. After that he managed to keep Schumacher behind him, and Alonso stood on the highest step of the podium.

GP Bahrain of 2014

The race in Bahrain in 2014 was a night race for the first time and fans were also treated to a fantastic race under the lights of the circuit. Mercedes teammates Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton fought for victory in some great battles on the circuit. Hamilton eventually won, despite Rosberg's better tyres. According to many, this race is one of the better of the modern V6 hybrid era.

GP Bahrain or 2019

Charles Leclerc stormed past his teammate Sebastian Vettel and led the race very early. The young Monegasque seemed to be on his way to a well-deserved first victory in Formula 1, but due to engine trouble he had to settle for P3. In the end, Lewis Hamilton managed to pull the race towards him and finished in first place and Bottas finished second.
