Hamilton: "Think Red Bull is a little faster at the moment"

After a dominant performance from Mercedes in Spain, Lewis Hamilton seems to be expecting more opposition after Friday in Belgium. Of course from Red Bull Racing, but also some other teams are very fast here.

“I think the Red Bulls are just a little bit quicker at the moment, but even Racing Point I think is right with us, then also Daniel Ricciardo and the Renaults are very close,” Hamilton said on Friday afternoon after the second free practice as quoted by Crash.net.

Hamilton doesn't know what the problem is

For the time being Hamilton is still in the dark as to why things are not so easy here. “That makes it exciting. We’ve got some work to do, that’s for sure, to dial in the car a bit more, but it doesn’t feel bad at all."

Hamilton and the Mercedes team are now going to find out if they have taken a step back or if the other teams have found something or if it's just the layout of the track.
