What time does qualifying for the British Grand Prix start?

The first two free practice sessions are over and with that the Formula 1 sessions on Friday are done. On Saturday, however, the real issue is when the drivers get ready for qualifying. Read here to find out what time you have to tune in.

Mercedes again?

Friday in Great Britain is over and it should be clear that no conclusions can be drawn from the results. The high temperatures that were present on Friday will disappear completely on Saturday and Sunday. So it's not surprising to see that Mercedes are not top of the timesheets.

That doesn't mean we can write Mercedes off right away, because the first three races have shown that Mercedes excels in the race and certainly in the colder conditions. Red Bull Racing seems to be in a slightly better shape than in Hungary, but whether that will deliver better results for Max Verstappen is still a big question mark.

Time for qualifying

On Saturday the third free practice will start at Silverstone. This will be held from 11:00 to 12:00, after which the teams can prepare for qualification. It will be held at 14:00 and will end around 15:00 Dutch time. Until then you can find the latest news and interviews at GPblog.com and stay up to date with our live blog!
