Ricciardo: "It's been a long time since I've driven a decent race."

Daniel Ricciardo is looking forward to the coming weeks with many races, starting in Austria. The Renault F1 Team driver wants to feel like a driver again. Team mate Esteban Ocon has also finished the long wait.

The Australian can't wait: "I'm all set. It's been a long time since I've ridden a decent race that went somewhere. Luckily it's getting closer now and we've already had a sneak preview at the beginning of the month at the circuit in Austria." With an older car the men of Renault drove quite a few laps on the Red Bull Ring.

The future McLaren driver continues: "We're excited because we're going to start again. Because the season is shorter, points are even more important and that is exactly what we want to do in Austria."

On the other side of the garage Ricciardo gets to see a different face this time. Esteban Ocon makes his comeback and many are looking forward to the duel between the two gentlemen. The Frenchman has had to wait a long time for his comeback in Formula 1.

"I had to wait a year and a half to be able to participate in a Formula 1 race again so it is logical that I am looking forward to it. We have put a lot of time in the preparations and our goal is to score points", the Frenchman concludes in a press statement of his team.
