Saturday night we already enjoyed action on the track in America during the first IndyCar race of 2020, but also the DTM season is about to start, with the first tests of the year at the Nürgburgring.

Because of the coronavirus, the DTM-championship was cancelled just like all other sports. For a long time it seemed that the TT of Assen, for example, would not take place, but this was confirmed last week on the new DTM calendar. In addition to that calendar, the drivers are already in action.

Another month

Just like the Formula 1 fan who has to wait another small month for the first action on the track, the first race of the DTM season is only July 10th. This means another month of waiting, but without official meters on the track in 2020, a solution has been found for the German motorsport class on the Nürburgring circuit.

From 8 to 10 July, the DTM cars will be on display at the German circuit for the first official test of 2020. With this the DTM is also the first class in Europe that appears again en masse on the track, because for the first test all teams are also directly present. The sound of a starting engine sounds like music to your ears.
