Alexander Albon has looked ahead to his third Grand Prix on behalf of Toro Rosso. The Thai-British driver is particularly looking forward to the different, challenging characteristics of the circuit on which the Chinese Grand Prix will be held.

“It felt good to score my first points in Bahrain, although I wasn't really worried about that at first. It is nice to be rewarded for your hard work as a team. You can tell that there was happiness by dropouts from other teams, but we were in the right place to take advantage of it and our reliability was in order, so I think the result is deserved," Albon stated on the website of Honda F1.

“Shanghai will be a new circuit for me and it doesn't look that easy at all. However, that is part of it. Because of the simulator work I already have some prior knowledge, so I don't get there with empty hands. I also have onboard images and I will start step by step."

“While simulating, I discovered that Shanghai is an interesting job. Like the first sector: A very long turn and I think that in real life the g-forces will be immense in the first turn during qualifying. I'm looking forward to it and I'm excited because it's a cool race and this will be my first visit to China," said Albon.
