After another retirement during the Australian Grand Prix that was out of his hands, Romain Grosjean concluded that the country must not like him for some reason, as he admitted to "shouting some bad words" when his Haas failed.

Last season, a horrific pitstop from the Haas crew caused one of Grosjean's tyres not to be bolted on properly, forcing him to retire mere seconds after he got out of the pitlane.

This season, the same thing happened again. The front left tyre took an unusual amount of time to bolt on, and some laps after the stop, that same tyre started wobbling, causing all kinds of frustration for Grosjean, who was well within the points.

“Deja vu," the Frenchman was quoted by GrandPrix247.

“Second year in a row, same problem. Third year in a row retiring here while I’m into the points.

“I think Australia doesn´t like me. I love the country, I love coming here, I love the track. I´ve always had a good feeling here. The car was fast, the pitstop was very long. And then something broke on the car.

“I haven´t really looked at the car. I just put the steering wheel back on and I walked away shouting some bad words.”
