Lewis Hamilton stormed to pole position for the sixth year in a row in Melbourne! Valtteri Bottas pushed him all the way and will start second, ahead of Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel.
Max Verstappen split the Ferraris, pushing Charles Leclerc down into P5, with Haas duo Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen impressing just behind.
McLaren debutant Lando Norris produced a fantastic Q2 lap to qualify eighth, ahead of 2007 World Champion Kimi Raikkonen and Sergio Perez.
Home favourite Daniel Ricciardo will start P12 after a disappointing Q2, whilst Red Bull new boy Pierre Gasly and Norris' McLaren tema mate Carlos Sainz being knocked out in Q1.
Hamilton complained with brake issues in the first runs of Q3, where Valtteri Bottas put in a superb lap to take provisional pole, but as we've seen so often, Hamilton pulled it out of the bag and beat his team mate's time by two tenths.

Ferrari were disappointing, with Vettel seven tenths away from Hamilton's pole time.
