Vettel is a very nice guy

Charles Leclerc has impressed in pre-season testing but is staying grounded and is keen to learn from his new teammate and four-time world champion, Sebastian Vettel.

Leclerc joins Ferrari following one season at Sauber in which he impressed, scoring 39 points and it is clear the Monegasque driver is extremely talented having replaced the experienced Kimi Raikkonen at the Scuderia.

The 21-year-old will have to play second fiddle to Sebastian Vettel who also burst onto the scene when he won his first world title as a 23-year-old.

Vettel hasn’t always been the easiest guy to work with but Leclerc has revealed he’s easy to get on with ahead of the new season.

"Seb is a very nice guy and it's not difficult to get on with him, so that's good,” Leclerc said.

"We are working on different things with the car and it's good to have Seb next to me during these days [at testing]. It's good to see what his strong points are and what I can learn from him."

The pair drove for the first time together at testing in Barcelona this week where they were the early pace setters.
