“I think we have a good chance” – Raikkonen

The 2007 FIA Formula 1 World Champion made a move from Ferrari to Sauber at the end of the season last year after having spent five years with the Scuderia from 2014 and three seasons beforehand from 2007 – 09.

He will be partnering Ferrari’s junior driver Antonio Giovinazzi for the team but is in good spirits after Sauber improved last season, moving from near the back of the field to contending the mid-field teams.

"We'll see once we start driving the new cars where we are roughly and then we go from there," said Raikkonen (sportsmole.co.uk).

The Finn stated that from his personal point of view a change in scene behind the track is something that he is looking forward to. Ferrari are a much bigger and political team in comparison to Sauber.
