Arrivabene: "the real Vettel is back"

Ferrari boss Maurizio Arrivabene has warned Lewis Hamilton that Sebastian Vettel will be back to his winning ways next season. 

Sebastian Vettel had a difficult season. Race strategy not going to plan and small errors cost him big time. By the end of the season, Lewis Hamilton had an 88 point lead, something which Ferrari would not have been happy about. 

However, Arrivabene believes that his team will be able to end this period of Mercedes dominance.

"In the last few races we have seen that the real Vettel is back." Arrivabene told Sky Italia. 

"Every individual goes through ups and downs and it is useless to point fingers at individuals."

The Ferrari boss admitted that "We all expected more from ourselves in 2018. You win and lose together. We made progress, but in the end we lost." 

Vettel is now enjoying some time off before the start of the 2019 season and admitted that "I haven't been at the top of my game." 

Ferrari will be looking to challenge for the Championship and with young driver Charles Leclerc in one of the seats it may just force Vettel to be his best.
