Red Bull Racing have secured their first title of 2024. The Austrian team of Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez were the strongest in Australia in a duel with Visa Cash App RB of Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda during the so-called Beach Sprint. Naturally, Red Bull shared footage of this.

In the first showdown, the drivers had to drive backwards. Verstappen and Perez were the fastest to finish this, giving them their first win.

In the second showdown between them, the teams had to make their way along a slalom course, navigating between flags. Once at the end, the challenge was to collect all the rescue items before the drivers raced back to the finish line. Ricciardo and Tsunoda arrived at the finish line first, but eventually a time penalty was handed out by the stewards. Visa Cash App RB was disqualified for not collecting all their beach rescue items. Red Bull Racing thus secured the eventual victory.

Red Bull plans to subject the four drivers to even more testing in the coming months. No doubt, footage of that too will be shared.
