The 'Sausage Kerb" added to the exit of the second-from-last corner at Yas Marinas Circuit is to be revised after complaints in Friday's free practice sessions.

Ahead of this season's finale in Abu Dhabi, a long, 50mm high kerb was added at the penultimate corner.

There have been complaints, though, from F1 drivers, including Romain Grosjean; who dubbed it "not F1 standard" after it started to break during practice and caused numerous drivers to skate along the top if a driver went wide.

Track workers have now begun to try and make the kerb less aggressive on Friday evening due to concerns expressed by the drivers.

Esteban Ocon said it was "not good quality in the way it was made on top".

"It should be better for tomorrow," Ocon said. "(But it) doesn't need to be as high as it is. You probably can lose time being on it and lose some load etc., but the problem is now if we go on it and break everything - so it could be dangerous."

However, Toro Rosso driver Brendon Hartley has revealed he is a fan of the kerb, but did admit that it's "pretty aggressive".

"You have to give the entry more respect," the Kiwi driver said. "I'm all for it. Maybe it's potentially a bit high, especially if you go over it and you're effectively a passenger. We have to make sure cars aren't getting damaged unnecessarily for going off in a small way."
