Verstappen, Leclerc & Russell in action during day 1 of testing in Bahrain

The first day of testing in Bahrain is about to begin, and the drivers listed below will take to the track on Wednesday. Max Verstappen will take care of the whole Wednesday on behalf of Red Bull, while Sergio Perez will finish Friday by himself. George Russell will get the entire day rather than teammate Lewis Hamilton, who is leaving the team at the end of the year.

Some teams choose to have each driver do one part of each day, and others again opt for a set-up where one driver finishes a whole day, and then the final day is divided. Red Bull and Mercedes, for example, have gone for the latter option. Where Verstappen will be in action throughout Wednesday, we will not see Hamilton on the track until Thursday.
