Michael Schumacher is far from forgotten. Ten years after his terrible skiing accident, the German is still regularly in the headlines. Often, the subject is his medical situation - about which little is actually known. This time, the recently 55-year-old Schumacher made the news with a piece of good news.

Indeed, his daughter Gina (26) is getting married, according to several media outlets. This summer, she is getting married to her 27-year-old boyfriend Iain Bethke, Spanish newspaper Ultima Hora and German magazine Bunte reported. A wedding planner from northern Germany has reportedly been hired to organise the party.

The ceremony would take place at the villa that Corinna, wife of seven-time F1 world champion Schumacher in 2017, bought from Real Madrid president Florentino Perez. Since then, Michael has also resided in the luxurious abode, although the family never talks about it publicly.

Last December marked exactly 10 years since Schumacher was seriously injured in a skiing accident in Switzerland. After a months-long coma, Schumacher remains at home, but what all the former driver can still do is completely unclear. Only a few have access to Schumacher, whose son Mick will be active in the World Endurance Championship (WEC) next season.
