For Christian Horner, it was a double celebration in Las Vegas. Not only did he get to celebrate his 50th birthday in the gambling city, he was also treated to a double podium by Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez. The Red Bull Racing team boss enjoyed the Formula 1 race in the gambling city, but at times it got a little too exciting for him.

Asked how the Las Vegas Street Circuit compares with the other street circuits on the F1 calendar, such as Monaco, Singapore and Baku, as far as Horner is concerned, the Vegas circuit is definitely among the top tracks.

Horner: 'I didn't dare to look'

"I think it's right up there. It's long and fast straights, so big slipstreams, big braking zones. You can see down the last straight that there’s some dive bombing that was going on there. I think the layout of the circuit has actually delivered," he said in conversation with Sky Sports.

"The surface being super slippy as well. You saw the drivers really working today. I closed my eyes a couple of moments," admitted the Red Bull team boss. "Particularly on the cold tyres at the restart, it was really getting very leery."
