The Las Vegas Grand Prix is just around the corner, and that means drivers are looking ahead to the weekend ahead. AlphaTauri had had more drivers than points halfway through the season, but has since struck quite a blow in the constructors' standings. Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda, of course, hope to fall back into the points this season.

Ricciardo won't be distracted in Las Vegas

"There’s going to be a lot going on apart from the track action, so I aim to stay in the zone and block out the distractions," Ricciardo revealed ahead of the weekend in Las Vegas. "It’s the balance of obviously trying to promote the weekend, promote the race and also enjoy some of the extracurricular things," the Australian continued.

"What it comes down to is that I'm there to race and that's what I need to prioritise and focus on," confirmed the AlphaTauri driver. "Especially now that we have closed the gap with Williams, it is so crucial to get points."

Tsunoda looks ahead

Tsunoda has already had several drivers alongside him this season. The season started with Nyck de Vries, but he had to abandon ship prior to the Hungarian Grand Prix because his performance was not up to scratch. He was replaced for Ricciardo, but he injured himself during the weekend at Zandvoort. Then Liam Lawson joined the Japanese driver. Tsunoda himself looks ahead to the Las Vegas Grand Prix.

"I have driven Vegas on the simulator and it is very fast with long straights, but most corners are slow, so you have to brake hard," Tsunoda explained. " I’m optimistic, but looking at the championship, I expect Williams will also be strong at this type of track, so we aim to fight hard and outscore them," concluded the Japanese driver.
