Will McLaren continue to give Red Bull Racing a hard time at the United States Grand Prix? The confidence of the English team is growing, which last time out in Qatar saw Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris finish on the podium. Both young drivers will undoubtedly be looking to repeat the feat when they race in Austin on the weekend.

A podium - or perhaps a win - in the US would come at a unique time for Norris. Indeed, at the Circuit of the Americas, the Briton hopes to celebrate an anniversary. "I'm really excited to head back to Austin and kickstart our final triple header of the season. The US GP is always a fun weekend, and it’s extra special this year as it marks my 100th race in F1, and of course with McLaren. It’s a great place to celebrate it, as the fans always bring a fantastic atmosphere," Norris said.

Stella expects tougher weekend for McLaren

Andrea Stella realises it could be a tough race weekend for his McLaren: "Austin always brings a fantastic atmosphere, with incredible fans and exciting racing. We head into this penultimate Sprint event determined to maximise our results wherever possible. We expect our competition to be strong, and the next few races may be more challenging for us. However, we go racing with the aim of scoring important points for the Constructors’ Championship," the team boss says.

For Piastri, it will be his first time racing at COTA. The Australian has shown earlier this season to be a quicker learner, someone who knows how to adapt quickly to new conditions: "It’s a cool circuit with sections of the track that are reminiscent of other circuits on the calendar and it’s also another Sprint weekend, so more opportunities for points!”
