The Singapore Grand Prix weekend is only just over and the next race weekend is already upon us. Indeed, this coming weekend the Japanese Grand Prix is scheduled at the Suzuka Circuit. The race weekend in Japan also looks set to see some loot, just like many other weekends this season.

Rain on Friday?

For now, it is most likely that there will be some rain around the Suzuka Circuit on Friday. The showers will only fall in the morning, according to Weather.com. However, Friday's first free practice is not until 11:30 am local time (4:30 am Dutch time), so the morning will be pretty much over by then. The chance of rain for Friday is about 50 per cent and it will be about 29 degrees Celsius.

Chance of rain decreases in Japan

For the other two days of the weekend, Saturday and Sunday, the chance of rain decreases significantly. For the day on which qualifying will be held, the chance of rain is 15 per cent. One day later, this chance does increase slightly to 23 per cent. Temperatures also remain very pleasant with 29 degrees on Saturday and 27 degrees on Sunday. So a soaking wet Grand Prix of Japan like in 2022, certainly does not seem to be happening this year.
