Max Verstappen's record-breaking run in Formula 1 has come to an end. Verstappen didn't lose an F1 race from April 30 2023, at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix until September 17th at the Singapore Grand Prix. The Red Bull Racing driver won 10th consecutive races by crossing the line in P1 at the Italian Grand Prix. That took him one clear of Sebastian Vettel's run of nine wins at the end of the 2013 season. He was beaten in Singapore by Carlos Sainz.

Verstappen's record run

Nobody has ever achieved such a successful run in Formula 1. He was successful at every event since May 7 in Miami until September 17 in Singapore. The run of wins includes Miami, Monaco, Spain, Canada, Austria, Britain, Hungary, Belgium, the Netherlands and Italy. It stretched four months and moved him closer to a third World Championship title.

In Italy, Ferrari were closest and that remained the case in Singapore. Sainz was the driver to end Verstappen's winning streak as the Red Bull car struggled to work well on the Marina Bay Street Circuit.
