No one can match Max Verstappen. The Dutchman stands head and shoulders above the rest of the pack. Even teammate Sergio Perez can only stand in the shadow of his colleague and rival. Red Bull team boss Christian Horner does not hide his admiration for Verstappen.

Once again, the two-time world champion won a Grand Prix with supremacy. Starting from P6, after incurring a grid penalty, Verstappen worked himself sovereignly past Oscar Piastri, Carlos Sainz, Lewis Hamilton, Charles Lecerc and teammate Sergio Perez. The Mexican, who started the race four places ahead of his colleague, was driven 22 seconds behind.

Verstappen in form of his life

Horner, too, cannot ignore Verstappen's superiority. Although the Limburger is not only superior to Perez, the Brit thinks:"I think it's levels of superiority over everybody at the moment, I think generally it's been outstanding and I think that what we're witnessing with Max at the moment is something that you see once in a generation."

The team boss lauds the over-capacity of his pupil, who recorded his 45th Grand Prix victory in Belgium. "I think that like all the great drivers he just has that extra capacity, and what we're witnessing and seeing with him at the moment is his ability to read the tyre, to read a race, to extract absolute everything out of it and I think that it's great to see, I think he's just at the top of his form at the moment."
