The FIA has decided to give all teams an extra set of intermediates so that teams will not run out of treaded rubber should rain fall this race weekend.

There is definitely a chance of rain and even some thunderstorms. During the third free practice session, there is currently a 13 per cent chance of precipitation. But qualifying may not remain out of the question either. The session, which starts at 4pm, also has a thirty per cent chance of possible rain showers.

Rain race?

Tomorrow during the race, the chances of precipitation are the lowest. Should rain fall, it will most likely be a localised cloudburst over the circuit. But remember: there really is nothing as treacherous as the weather. In any case, the FIA is opting for its money and giving teams an extra set of tyres.
