Actually, media obligations were scheduled for this Thursday afternoon for the F1 drivers, but due to the cancellation of the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, that obviously did not happen either. Nevertheless, the Alpine drivers decided to answer questions. Esteban Ocon, Pierre Gasly and reserve driver Jack Doohan huddled in front of their webcams to answer questions from fans live on Instagram.

Needless to say, the trio started off by offering heartfelt support to the people of the Emilia-Romagna region, which has been badly affected by the severe storms. Ocon, Gasly and Doohan all agreed that cancelling the Grand Prix was the only right decision. They then addressed the questions that Alpine supporters had sent in beforehand.

Ocon and Gasly share trivia

So we now know what their favourite form of pasta is, what they miss most during their many trips and what their best memories of Imola are. Moreover, there was the question of what their favourite circuit is. For Pierre Gasly, it was the Monza circuit, where he captured his first and only Grand Prix victory: "Obviously, Monza will forever have a special place in my heart. It was the first F1-race I had, sleeping home. I was laying on my sofa thinking, ‘I will have a F1-race in a couple of hours.’"

For teammate Ocon, there are other places he cherishes: "When I heard that the French Grand Prix came, that was the best news. It was extremely special to have a home race there with all the support. But also Japan is very special, and Hungary will forever have a special place in my heart."
