Stoffel Vandoorne is to leave McLaren at the end of the season!

It's been looking certain for a while now, but news has just been confirmed by McLaren themselves, that Vandoorne is to leave the side after the end of this season.

Vandoorne made his Formula One debut last season and he has really struggled to kick on and announce himself as a top driver.

McLaren's season as a whole, hasn't been ideal - but the poor form of the Belgian, who hasn't been able to keep up with his team-mate Fernando Alonso at all, has triggered their decision.

Lando Norris looks like the favourite to replace Vandoorne at McLaren as he looks to step up from their junior team.

Sergio Perez has also been rumoured to join Carlos Sainz in Woking next season.
