Haas boss Guenther Steiner believes that Mercdes customers cannot complain about Ferrari's impressive gains this season so far.

Haas themselves, are fifth this season in the constructors' standings; 16 points behind Renault.

The American outfit have possessed a very powerful Ferrari engine and this has sparked a few teams in the paddock, who believe that the way Haas are doing things isn't very fair.

Sauber, like Haas, are also benefitting from a good Ferrari engine and they have also improved this season.

Haas boss Guenther Steiner isn't very happy with people complaining about Ferrari's gains this season and thinks it's pretty rich when you look at recent history and see how much Mercedes have dominated the Formula One sport.

"Mercedes customers shouldn't complain because they had a very good engine the last four years," Steiner said to Motorsport.com.

"The first years of these regulations, if you didn't have a Mercedes engine, you were nowhere. Now Ferrari have overtaken them and everybody having a Ferrari engine are critiqued - 'Oh, you've got the good engine'.

"Yeah we have. So did you the last four years and you didn't take advantage of it. So what can I do? I'm very happy. If the other ones are unhappy, then I cannot help them."
