Mercedes shows footage of W14 in action

Mercedes have been showing off their car ahead of the pre-season tests in Bahrain, taking the W14 for a spin around Silverstone.

Lewis Hamilton got behind the wheel of the W14 and Mercedes posted some footage of it on Twitter. There is still speculation as to whether the car is suffering from porpoising again, although on this footage it doesn't really seem to be the case.

Finally competition again for Red Bull?

In any case, the season could become very interesting if it turns out that Toto Wolff 's team has fixed its aerodynamics problems and it leads to a very fast car. Who knows what a Hamilton or a George Russell in top form could do? Furthermore, it will be even more exciting if Ferrari is also in the running for the world title. Hopefully we will know more during testing. The best first impressions, however, will come during the first race in Bahrain on 5 March.
