Lando Norris retired from the sprint race at the first corner. The cause of the crash was through no fault of his own, and he has taken a dig at his fellow Formula 1 drivers in response.

Norris furious

Norris was on the outside at turn one. Hamilton made an ambitious move on the inside line, and he ended up making contact with Fernando Alonso. The Aston Martin driver was then sandwiched, which eventually pushed across to Norris.

Norris qualified on pole position for the last sprint race in China but could only manage P9 in Miami. The British driver responded to this incident by slamming his fellow drivers.

"I guess today we paid the price of being back with some of the people who are a bit more careless. It's kind of the position we put ourselves in by doing a bad job yesterday, and I did a bad job myself yesterday. So the pace is good, the car's good, and we can still have a great weekend," Norris told Sky Sports

Norris' teammate Oscar Piastri qualified slightly better in P6 and is likely to score points in the sprint race.
