Charles Leclerc admits that his first few races weren't at his set standard but says he has learnt from them to become a better driver.
There has been praise left, right and centre for Sauber driver Charles Leclerc this season, following his impressive debut season in Formula One.
Ferrari are very interested in Leclerc to replace their driver Kimi Raikkonen for next season.
It took Leclerc three or four races to really come into his element this season.
"I made quite a lot of mistakes in the first three races," Leclerc admitted to GrandPrix247.com.

The last seven races have been brilliant for the Monegasque driver, though.
Twice he's been in Q3 and every occasion has seen him outqualify his team mate Marcus Ericsson.
"It's crazy, how it's going up and up," Leclerc speaking about his first ten races in the sport.
"We're doing an incredible job, which is great, but it raises expectations. When you're doing still a good job but not incredible, people might see it like a bad day, so we have to be careful about that."
With the likes of Ferrari interested in Leclerc in his very first season at the top, there's bound to be pressure on the 20-year-old - Leclerc brushes the pressure away, though.

"It doesn't bother me. I'm just focusing on myself," Leclerc explained.
"The most important thing is that the team is happy and the team knows what to expect every weekend and they know how good of a job we are doing at the moment. So we need to keep focusing on that."
