Wait, what? Vettel voted driver of the day!
Sebastian Vettel has been voted driver of the day, even though the German had caused a collision with Valtteri Bottas and only finished fifth.
Vettel did have a fantastic stint in the race after his collision which set him back from P3 to P17. He overtook thirteen cars to find himself in P4 just seventeen laps after the safety car had come back in again. You might think that this is easy as Vettel has a way superior car, but Valtteri Bottas's struggles to get through the field testify how good Vettel's overtaking was.
But still. He came in fifth, and he caused a collision. Shouldn't that be enough to not get Driver of the Day?
