Full results United States GP | Verstappen takes another win
Red Bull Racing are certain of the Formula 1 world title after Max Verstappen finished first and Sergio Perez fourth. Lewis Hamilton briefly seemed to have the best chances for his first win of the season, but Verstappen managed to pass the Mercedes driver five laps before the end.
Hamilton crossed the line in second, ahead of Charles Leclerc. George Russell eventually finished fifth. Lando Norris had a fine Sunday with sixth place. Noteworthy is the seventh place for Fernando Alonso. The Spaniard's Alpine survived a huge collision with Lance Stroll and thus still takes six important points.
Kevin Magnussen made only one pit stop, something Pirelli had thought impossible. It earned him and Haas F1 eighth place. Sebastian Vettel and Yuki Tsunoda are the last two drivers to take home points.
