Albon finds 'secret ingredient' to bring in points

Alexander Albon picked up his third point of the season at the Miami Grand Prix with his tenth place finish. The Thai driver joked afterwards in conversation with Sky Sports that not the improvements to the car, but something else would be the reason for his performance.

During the third Grand Prix in Australia, Albon walked around with red hair, receiving frequent funny comments from his teammates. Despite the opinions of those around him, the driver managed to finish in tenth place, scoring his first point of the season.

Albon decided not to keep up with his hair color and consequently arrived in Imola with a faded color. In Italy, he came up just short of a point with an eleventh place finish, leaving him hoping for the next race in Miami. With red hair again, he did manage to finish in the top ten in the United States.

After the race weekend the driver let it be known that for Williams it is not necessary to get points for the team, but that it was his hair color that made the difference. He made an agreement with his team that they would also make their hair red if he finished in the points. It remains to be seen, however, whether they will keep the agreement.
