For Ferrari, the Imola Grand Prix was one to forget quickly and so it's nice that the weekend in Miami is just around the corner. At the Miami Opening Party Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz sounded pretty excited.

For Ferrari, the home race in Italy was a big disappointment. Sainz' race ended already in the first lap after a collision with Daniel Ricciardo and Leclerc himself threw away a podium by spinning in the final laps. He still finished sixth, but lost a lot of extra points compared to Max Verstappen.

Ferrari wants to strike back

Asked if Miami is a good place for him to strike back, Leclerc therefore answered very positively in front of the fans. ''Definitely. Imola was not good for me, because a mistake cost me my podium. Hopefully we can strike back here and win,'' the Monegasque said Wednesday at the F1 event.

Sainz is also hoping to bounce back after two bad results. In Australia he made his own mistake during the race and in Imola he was hit by Ricciardo. At least in Miami there are many Spanish speakers supporting him. "It's definitely a good place to hit back, especially with a lot of Spanish-speaking people here,'' said the Ferrari driver, who then enthusiastically addressed his fans in Spanish.
