Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz looks ahead to the upcoming race in Jeddah during the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix and gives F1 fans the tip to watch the midfield. On tracks like the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, you can expect a lot of spectacle.

With two races to go at a potentially blisteringly fast track in Jeddah and a rebuilt and faster Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, the battle for the middle of the 2021 F1 season is still wide open. At least, that is what Sainz says to Motorsport.com: "The last few circuits are somewhat unknown. In Jeddah, we have no idea what we're going to find. It seems to be a very fast circuit and at tracks like that we've seen the field shake up a lot. So it could be very exciting."

Abu Dhabi also provides more excitement

The changes to the Yas Marina Circuit are also approved by the Ferrari driver: "There are fewer chicanes and it has a faster character. That can also bring the whole midfield much closer together. So it will be some very tough racing. But if we keep working like we do, I think we can be confident."

Sainz's fears seem premature as his team is on P3 and has a 39.5 point lead over McLaren. On top of that, McLaren is currently in particularly poor form, scoring almost no points in recent races. With two races to go, the gap is still there for McLaren and the drivers will have to be careful not to crash and get run over.
