The podium of the Catalan Grand Prix has been reshuffled after post-race penalties were handed out by the MotoGP stewards on Sunday. As a result, Joan Mir drops out of the top three.
Multiple riders came under investigation after the race for low tyre pressure. The list included Joan Mir, Toprak Razgatlioglu, Jack Miller, Raul Fernandez, Alex Rins and
Francesco Bagnaia.
For now, every rider except Bagnaia has received a 16-second penalty, which drops Joan Mir off the podium. Bagnaia originally finished fourth, but currently moves up into third place.
This also elevates Fermin Aldeguer to second place. If Bagnaia were to be penalised as well, championship leader Marco Bezzecchi would complete the podium.
