The ever-thrilling Moto3 class continued the fireworks at the Sachsenring in the German Grand Prix as Max Quiles sought to extend his championshup advantage.
Pole-sitter Brian Uriarte made an excellent launch and took the holeshot from the opening, with Quiles, Carpe, Salmela and Morelli quickly forming a lead group ahead of the rest.
There were several crashes for the likes of Valentin Perrone and Casey O'Gorman, but thankfully all riders were able to get back to their feet. Adrian Cruces was taken to the medical center for a precautionary check after hitting the ground heavily.
It didn't take long for Uriarte and Quiles to pull away from the rest of the field and they traded places several times at the front. Uriarte finally made the decisive pass on the final lap. Matteo Bertelle took the final place on the podium by just 0.007s from Marco Morelli.
